Attack on Titan Anime Review

Attack on Titan is based in the year 845 when 102 years of peace are disrupted by the appearance of the colossal titan, Titans being gigantic humanoids that devour humans for the fun of it. It takes place in a completely different universe and setting than ours (still Earth though, just under different circumstances).

The story starts with the titans breaking into the safe haven that the humans live in, aka the area bounded by the walls. It spins off there and is still ongoing after 3 seasons spanning 59 episodes revolving around the protagonist Eren Yeager who vows to annihilate each and every titan on the face of the earth after watching his mother being consumed by one of them.

Attack on Titan Anime Review quote

It by far the best anime I’ve watched breaking across many other high rated animes such as Bleach, One Piece and Naruto Shippuden owing to its impressive storyline and the detail put into the backstory of each and every character. It brings out the flaws in the human psyche with a brilliant story, taking us down for a roller-coaster ride of emotional drama and intense adrenaline-fueled action combined with gorgeous visuals and epic soundtracks.

So, if you’ve got time to kill it’s a great option to unwind and enjoy sheer pleasure.
